dc.description.abstract	3-Amino-7-hydroxy-4-methyl-chromen-2-ones synthesized by condensing 3- bromo-7-hydroxy-4-methyl-chromen-2-one with 2o aliphatic amines such as piperidine & diethyl amine to give title compounds.
