One pot synthesis of 3-Amino-7-Hydroxy-4-methyl-chromen-2-ones & their biological activity

Abstract

3-Amino-7-hydroxy-4-methyl-chromen-2-ones synthesized by condensing 3- bromo-7-hydroxy-4-methyl-chromen-2-one with 2o aliphatic amines such as piperidine & diethyl amine to give title compounds. Antibacterial screening & Antifungal screening were performed for possible biological activities.
