dc.description.abstract The study entitled “Anatomical Study On Pakvashaya In Correlation With Koshthanga, Aashaya, Kala And Sroto Moola” is aimed to elaborate Pakvashaya anatomically as well conceptually. The advent of all branches of science and technology is aimed at developing the living standards of man. The language of any science lies in its ability to provide solutions to problems with clarity. It includes not only in inventing new things but also documenting everything in a precise and standardized nomenclature. Our Acharyas explained Pakvashaya as one among the Koshthangs, Ashaya, Kala also as Moola Sthana Of Purishvah Srotas. these all references says how much Acharyas has given importants to Pakvashaya because Pakvashaya plays a major role in manifestation of diseases as well as in the management of diseases. Koshth, Ashaya,Srotas Mool And Kala Sharira each of these term is concern with Pakvashaya, our classics described different terms to represent each of them as all are in relation with Pakvashaya. so here attempt is made to evaluate how they differ from each other anatomically and conceptually. Many scholars have described Pakvashaya by various angles. but here to explore the concept of Pakvashaya in relation with Koshtha, Ashaya, Srotas Mula And Kala Sharira as mention above. To fulfill it, this particular work has been planned. All Vyadhis originating by the vitiation of Vata Dosha originate at the Pakwashaya (large intestine).Atisaara, Visuchika, Udavarta, Gridhrasi etc originate from Pakvashaya due to the vitiation of Vata Dosha. Main importance of assessing the Udbhavastana of a Vyadhi is not just for the diagnostic aspect, but also in selecting the appropriate therapeutic modalities like shaman or shodhana. en_US
