A conceptual and observational study of santarpaniya adhyay of yojana chatuska w.s.r to kustha

Abstract

TITLE: A CONCEPTUAL AND OBSERVATIONAL STUDY OF SANTARPANIYA ADHYAY OF YOJANA CHATUSKA W.S.R TO KUSTHA INTRODUCTION: Ayurved samhita ancient text book for healthy and prospers life.Its roots originated from vedas- A perfect way of life, way of thinking and way of worship. Charak Samhita was main classical text for ayurvedic principle.It was divided into 7 chatuska (bunch of 4 chapters) and dwaya samgraha. Among of them Study of Santarpaniya Adhyay of Yojana chatuska elaborated here. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: 1) To study critically the Yojana chatuska . 2) To study critically the Santarpaniya Adhyay of Yojana chatuska . 3) To assess the santarpan janya causative factors as per present era of kustha. METERIALS AND METHODS: For the present study, 40 patients having the signs and symptoms of any Kustha or Tvak Vikara were randomly selected. The patient were diagnosed on the basis of signs and symptoms of kustha, condition of Agni, Sam & Nirama Mala. CONCEPTUAL STUDY: Yojana chatuska was mainly stated as aatrura vikara prashmana. Yojana chatuska is mainly used for Aatur vikara prasamanm and all four chapter leads towards dhatusamya. Six upakrama the main applied part of whole treatment were described under title of lamghan-brimhaniya. This six upakrama agin in two main part Samtarpan and Aptarpan. With santarpan janya causative factor Santarpanjanya vyadhi kustha was described.
