Process improvement by using the application of lean manufacturing in hydraulic pump manufacturing industry

Abstract

Manufacturing Firm Sometimes Suffer from Productivity, Low Production rate and incoming defects. Production time is the top priority at manufacturing firm. The lean management is dedicated to the improvement of productivity, efficiency and quality. Kaizen, 5s and six sigma are the foundation of lean six sigma management system. It’s a tool for providing the necessary groundwork for improvement and preventing small errors and variation with better process control. According to the last months monitoring data sheet the production is not equal to the targeted production for gear. The problem arising here is low productivity and defect. For these problems the kaizen and six sigma is effective.
