dc.description.abstract	3-amino analogues of 3-bromo-7-hydroxy-4-methyl-benzopyron-2Hone are synthesized by condensation of 3-bromo-7-hydroxy-4-methylchromen- 2-one with aromatic amines such as m-nitro aniline & ptoludine. The title compounds subjected to microbial screening. They are highly active towards subjected antibacterial & antifungal activity.	en_US
