An observational study of etiopathogenesis of panduroga w.s.r. to iron deficiency anaemia

Abstract

Aims and Objectives:  To study an etiopathogenesis of “Pandu Roga” in the light of the description in Modern Medicine for iron deficiency Anemia.  To assess iron deficiency anemia with the help of clinical history, signs and symptoms and laboratory investigation.  To compare the causative factors and pathogenesis of iron deficiency anemia with reference to Pandu Roga and its subtypes on the basis of Nidan and Lakshana. Design : Observational study Setting : Parul Ayurved Hospital, Limda, Vadodara, Gujarat. Study selection: Patients with classical signs and symptoms of Iron Deficiency Anemia were selected. Main observations: Observational: We studied etiopathogenesis in patients of Iron deficiency anemia to compare with Pandu Roga and its subtypes. Statistical Study: Demographical data were used. Conclusion: From this study we can conclude that there is Relation between etiopathogenesis of iron deficiency anemia and Pandu Roga.
